Whitehouse High School - Theatre Classes!
Technical Theatre I, II, III, IV
Students will study the appropriate selections, construction and manipulation of those staging variables which visually and orally support the theatrical performance and the needs of the production. Students will have the opportunity to study and execute the art of costume design, make-up, lighting, set and sound.
Theatre Arts I
This course will emphasize expressive use of the body and voice, acting, and production concepts and skills. Students will gain aesthetic growth through appreciation of theatrical events. Students will be encouraged to attend all of Wildcat Theatre Co.'s theatrical performances.

Theatre Arts II
These courses will emphasize building basic Actor serious actor skills including the rehearsal process
and auditions. Set, costume, lighting, and make-up design will also be studied. Students will be required to attend all of Wildcat Theatre Co.'s theatrical performances.

Theatre Arts III, IV
These courses will emphasize auditions, performances, and theatre history. Set, costume, lighting, and make-up design will also be studied. Students will be required to attend all of Wildcat Theatre Co.'s theatrical performances.
Theatre Production I, II, III, IV
This course emphasizes practical hands-on experiences in acting through public performances and stagecraft. This course will allow credit for a student’s participation in school productions. Attendance, participation, cooperation, and overall performance will be graded. Class time will also be used for hands-on work in preparing for and producing plays.
